Users may:
- Create a new group and invite others using a unique group code or share link
- Join an existing active group using a valid group code or invitation link
The program is designed to reward both the person who creates the group and eligible invited participants when the required group thresholds are met.
Group discounts are based on the final number of eligible paid participants within the active group period.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Group Discount Program, users must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold an active AUPOD account
- Purchase an eligible AUPOD service
- Complete payment within the active group period
- Comply with all AUPOD platform terms, verification requirements, and applicable laws
AUPOD reserves the right to verify participant’s eligibility at any time.
3. Group Creation and Participation
Any person may create a group, including:
- Existing AUPOD users
- New AUPOD users
Group creators may invite one or more individuals using the unique group code or share link provided by AUPOD.
Invited participants must be new users who have not previously purchased or used AUPOD services.
Existing users may continue creating groups and inviting eligible new users multiple times. There is no restriction on the number of groups an eligible user may create, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Available group durations may include:
- 24 Hours
- 48 Hours
- 72 Hours
- 96 Hours
Once a group expires, no additional participants may join that group.
4. Savings Tiers and Discount Structure
Savings are determined by the total number of eligible paid participants within a group during the active group period.
Tier 1
2–5 Paid Participants
All qualifying participants receive a 10% Group Discount benefit
Tier 2
6 or More Eligible Paid Participants
All qualifying participants receive a 20% Group Discount benefit
The applicable percentage benefit is calculated individually based on the value of each participant’s purchased service.
The Group Discount applies to all eligible AUPOD services, including but not limited to:
- Individual Tax Returns (ITR)
- myTax Support
- BAS Support
- Sole Trader Services
- Business Tax Returns
- Company Tax Returns
- Trust Tax Returns
- Partnership Tax Returns
- Business Registration Services
- Company Registration Services
The discount applies once only per eligible service or checkout.
Participants are not required to purchase the same service. A single group may contain participants purchasing different eligible AUPOD services.
5. How Discounts Are Calculated
The Group Discount percentage is applied individually to each participant based on the value of their own purchased service.
For example:
An existing user purchases a Trust Tax Return service valued at AUD $1,000 and invites six eligible new users.
Because the group reaches six eligible paid participants, everyone qualifies for the 20% Group Discount tier.
Because the group reaches six eligible paid participants, everyone qualifies for the 20% Group Discount tier.
The purchases may include:
- Two users purchase Individual Tax Returns at AUD $59 each
- Two users purchase myTax Support at AUD $29 each
- One user purchases a Company Tax Return at AUD $500
- One user purchases a Company Registration service at AUD $49
The resulting discounts would be:
- Trust Tax Return user: AUD $1,000 × 20% = AUD $200
- Individual Tax Return users: AUD $59 × 20% = AUD $11.80 each
- myTax Support users: AUD $29 × 20% = AUD $5.80 each
- Company Tax Return user: AUD $500 × 20% = AUD $100
- Company Registration user: AUD $49 × 20% = AUD $9.80
Each participant’s discount amount is determined solely by the value of the service they personally purchased.
6. Additional Promotional Features

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who is eligible for the Group Discount?
Any person can start a group invitation, whether they are an existing user or a new user.
However, the invited person must be a new user who has never used AUPOD’s services before.
2. Who can be invited to join a group?
Existing users can continue inviting new users multiple times, helping bring in new customers on an ongoing basis. The one-time restriction has been removed.
However, invited participants must be new users who have never previously used or registered for AUPOD services, as existing customers are already part of the system.
3. Can I invite people more than once?
Yes. There is no limit on how many times an eligible user can create a group and invite new customers.
Existing AUPOD customers can continue sharing invitations and participating in future Group Discount promotions, provided all program requirements are met.
4. Do the people in my group need to purchase the same service?
No. Participants can purchase different eligible AUPOD services and still be part of the same group.
For example, one participant may purchase an Individual Tax Return while others purchase myTax Support, BAS Support, Company Registration, Business Tax Return, Trust Tax Return, or other eligible services.
Group qualification is based on the number of eligible participants in the group, not on everyone purchasing the same service.
5. Who receives the Group Discount benefit?
Both the invited new user and the person who sends the invitation (the inviter) are eligible to receive the Group Discount benefit.
The applicable discount is 10% or 20%, depending on the final group qualification tier, and applies to both the inviter and eligible invited participants.
6. Can users invite participants from different services?
Yes. Users can invite participants across any AUPOD service. For example, Business users can invite Individual Tax Return (ITR), myTax Support, or BAS Support users, and vice versa. All eligible services can participate within the same group.
7. What are the Group Discount rates?
The Group Discount is now offered as a percentage-based benefit only.
Fixed amount discounts (such as $10 or $20 for Individual Tax Returns) have been removed. All eligible services, including Individual Tax Returns, now receive the same percentage-based Group Discount of up to 20%, depending on the final group size.
8. How much can I save through the Group Discount Program?
Savings are based on the qualifying discount tier achieved by the group.
- Tier 1 groups qualify for a 10% Group Discount
- Tier 2 groups qualify for a 20% Group Discount
The actual dollar value of the discount depends on the price of the service purchased by each participant.
9. How is the Group Discount calculated?
The Group Discount is calculated as a percentage of each participant’s individual service value once the group reaches the qualifying tier (10% or 20%).
The discount percentage applies equally to all eligible participants, but the final discount amount varies depending on the price of the service each person purchases.
For example:
A group qualifies for the 20% Group Discount tier after 6 eligible users join.
- The group creator purchases a Trust Tax Return service worth AUD $1,000
- 2 users purchase Individual Tax Returns at AUD $59 each
- 2 users purchase myTax Support at AUD $29 each
- 1 user purchases a Company Tax Return at AUD $500
- 1 user purchases a Company Registration at AUD $49
The discounts would therefore be:
- Inviting user: $1,000 × 20% = $200
- Two ITR users: $59 × 20% = $11.8 each
- Two myTax Support users: $29 × 20% = $5.8 each
- One Company Tax Return user: $500 × 20% = $100
- One Company Registration user: $49 × 20% = $9.8
Total Group Discount value:
$200 + (2 × 11.8) + (2 × 5.8) + 100 + 9.8 = approximately AUD $345.
